MYSTERIOUS ISLAND
I can’t
remember what day was that. That day, I went to Singapore to meet my client. I packed
what I need. Then I went to the port. I bought some polish in the port because my
shoes was dirty. After that, I took a seat then fell asleep.
I woke
in the middle of night. I hear lots of people screamed. I didn’t know what
happened that time. An old man told me that the ship’s engine burnt.
“Runaway young man, the ship is about to sink!” said the old
man.
I ran to the life raft but it was
full. I tried to find the other life raft, but I couldn’t found it. I couldn’t see anything but smoke, I couldn’t
hear anything but scream. I tried not to panic. Suddenly, the ship exploded. Then
I jumped to the water. The only thing I could do was hanging on a floating
board. I was floating all night long in the middle of nowhere. I was tired,
soon I lost my consciousness.
I wake on a mysterious island. I saw
lots of trees, but I saw no people. I walked around the island hopping to find people
who could help me. When I was walking, I saw monkeys climbing on a tree and eating
its fruit. I didn’t know what tree was that, but I was sure that I could eat
that fruit. I picked some fruits and continued.
I couldn’t find a single person
that day, so I walked back to the shore. The day began to dark, I had to find a
place to rest. I found a broken life raft, so I used it to make a perfect tent.
I slept all night long. The next day was the second day I stranded on a
people-less island. I was hungry and I already ate all my unknown fruits. I walked
to the tree again, but the monkeys already ate all the fruits. Nothing left on
the tree except its branches and leaves.
“I can eat those monkeys!” I lost
my mind.
Soon I ran and I tried to catch one
of those monkeys. They ran too fast, then I grabbed a rock and I hit one which
closest to me. It fell off from the tree. I brought the monkey back to the
shore. I a piece of steel, I thought it from the boat. I used the steel to cut
the monkey into pieces. Then I realized that I couldn’t eat raw meat. I had to
make fire. I groped my pocket and there was my polish. I made fire from the
polish, the polish contain oil that is very sensitive to heat. I made a delicious
monkey barbeque. Then I sleep with full stomach.
Day 3, I was dehydrated. I saw a
high coconut tree. I climbed, and I pick 3 coconuts down. I opened it with the
steel. I drank all of those coconut water. Then I saw a boat. It was a fishing
boat. I tried to make a SOS signal. I used the sparkling polish can to make the
SOS signal. They came to me. Finally they saved me, they saved my life. I spent
3 days on a mysterious island and that was unforgettable experience.
